Costume Entry: Skyloft's Spirit

Costume entry for the costume contest held by Skyloft-Academy

"Design an outfit that is inspired by Skyloft and Skyloft academy. This can be as obvious as dressing like a loftwing or as subtle as wearing something fashionable."

Well, as for my design, I wanted to encompass what Ginuvi loved about Skyloft. That is her experiences. Through the many trials that Skyloft has offered, Ginuvi (and many others for sure) have grown and become stronger because of it. Because they're so rare, I imagine the crimson loftwing to be an iconic symbol of what Skyloft represents. So to be the spirit of Skyloft, the outfit ultimately reflects the design of a crimson loftwing. But each "feather" is a tapestry  highlighting all of Skyloft's important missions thus far (Missions 1-6, left to right respectively). The Tapestry around Ginuvi's waist is representive of Skyloft's history, being the center and leading to where our knights-in-training are today.

Mission 1 Tapestry:
- The mission was to defend the island from a surprise attack! Ginuvi attacked her first monster ever that day, and it's a memory she cherishes with Horrock, whom she depicted in the art.

Mission 2 Tapestry:
- The mission to the surface that went terribly wrong with a wolfos attack! Everyone were in teams and defeated one wolfos each. (I think there were five teams, thus five wolfos, but I apologize if I got the number wrong lD)

Mission 3 Tapestry:
- The mission it save Chronos Desert's time-shift stone! A very personal mission for Ginuvi, and one that she's grateful everyone helped with. So she depicted each island someone calls home, representing the coming together in a time of need.

Mission 4 Tapestry:
- The mission to escape Skyloft! Unfortunately it fell into the hands of the mysterious Darknut.

Mission 5 Tapestry:
- The mission to collect the mysterious artifacts! Each group had to overcome a huge boss, and to the victor goes the spoils!

Mission 6 Tapestry:
- The mission to take back Skyloft! Using the artifacts, the students and instructors triumphed and saved the day. The whole event reminded Ginuvi of Skyloft's history, so there are many similarities between the two Tapestries. Most notably though, the crimson Loftwing representing Skyloft as a whole rising up to win the day!

Another smaller note of her outfit is that her earrings hold the feathers of all the ones she's felt closest to. (Except 2, because Ryn and Osama's loftwings don't have/I couldn't find a picture showing what their wing tips look like QxQ)

So yeah! Vote for me if you like my design, and go look at everyone else's stuff too!
